BRADFORD Private School has recorded a 100 percent pass rate at Advanced Level for the third consecutive year, consolidating its position as a centre of academic excellence.

The school achieved a 100 percent pass rate in both Cambridge and ZIMSEC A-Level examinations, with every A-Level student passing all the subjects.

At Ordinary Level, the school recorded commendable results, achieving a 100 percent pass rate in Cambridge and a 96 percent pass rate in ZIMSEC, with only one student attaining four subjects. Bradford Private School’s academic reputation has continued to improve steadily over the years.

In 2020, the institution recorded a 95 percent pass rate, which rose to 97.3 percent in 2021.

This upward trend culminated in 100 percent pass rates in both 2022 and 2023.

The headmaster, Dr Elevate Mukanhairi, highlighted the school’s zero-tolerance policy on drug and substance abuse, noting that the institution operates its own rehabilitation programme, which provides support and treatment to affected students.

Commenting on the achievement, Dr Mukanhairi expressed gratitude to parents and guardians for their continued trust and confidence in the school.

“We are grateful to the parents and guardians for their belief in the school’s potential and their unwavering support of our learners,” said Dr Mukanhairi.

Sasha Chiwaura, who was the head boy and wants to be a lawyer, praised the school for nurturing him and mentoring him throughout his high school years.

Beyond academics, Bradford Private School boasts a rich sporting and co-curricular history.

The school has competed at district and provincial levels in volleyball and soccer, reflecting its commitment to holistic learner development.

In debate, the school nurtures bright and confident students, encouraging strong communication skills and critical thinking.

Last year, the school’s cricket team competed in the T10 tournament, finishing as first runners-up, with Kutama College taking the top honours.

The school’s Marimba band continues to excel, having performed at various national events, further showcasing Bradford Private School’s cultural excellence.
