This year’s event will run under the theme “Beauty with Brains”. The fine lady who will walk away with the crown tonight will together with her two princesses, book a ticket to represent MSU at the Miss Universities beauty pageant set for October this year at Ochi City in Harare.
Last year MSU’s Chengetai Gunguwo was voted first princes at the Miss Universities beauty contest.
JAHMAK entertainment, organisers of the Miss MSU pageant said a number of exciting prizes are lined up for the winners courtesy of SUPA Lotto and Sunshine Electronics, the principal sponsors of the event.
Andrew Mutunga JAHMAK Events coordinator said, “Apart from winning the ticket to take part in Miss Universities, there are also a lot of fabulous prizes lined up for the winners courtesy of our sponsors.
“The event will run under the theme ‘Beauty with Brains’ as part of our thrust to promote beautiful women who can also make a mark in intellectual circles,” he said.
A number of artistes are lined up to perform at the event with the self proclaimed dancehall father Shinsoman expected to steal the limelight.

Mutunga added that some of the artistes who will entertain revellers tonight have been drawn from MSU as part of JAHMAK’s endeavour to promote artistes based at the institution of higher learning.
Flavour, whose song Swedera with Stunner is getting considerable airplay on local radio stations and Wimper who is popular among students for his songs chronicling university life, are the two entertainers drawn from MSU for tonight’s event.
The two artistes will partner local DJs Tamuka and Mupsyville as well as a couple of turntable spinners from MSU in keeping revellers on the edge of their seats
