With six kids, two successful careers and their humanitarian work, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt rarely have time for romantic date nights, but they made an exception while in Australia on Tuesday.
The Hollywood stars had a seafood dinner for two at the Shipwreck Bar and Grill in Airlie Beach, Queensland.
And 38-year-old Jolie slipped on her strappy gold stilettos for the occasion, alongside her trademark black pants and black silk camisole.
Brad, 50, however, got into the casual Australian spirit in a pair of beige slacks, white shirt and hiking-inspired boots.
The couple couldn’t stop giggling and looked like a pair of teenagers in love as they arrived at the restaurant.
When the Jolie-Pitt power couple pulled up in a white four wheel drive, they were more than happy to wave and smile at photographers and shocked fans who went wild when seeing the A-listers.
Jolie has been busy at work on the Australian set of her film Unbroken and was filming in the Gold Coast, in Queensland, at the end of January.
The Shipwrecked Bar & Grill, one the tourist town’s waterfront restaurants, was closed yesterday, presumably in preparation for Brad and Angelina’s visit.
The restaurant boasts an all-weather deck overlooking the beach front, the perfect setting for a romantic evening. The stars got a break from the kids and from eating kid-friendly food, and chose from a large menu, mainly of seafood dishes, ranging in price from US$26-US$35.
They also had a selection of cocktails and 34 different wines to enjoy through their romantic night.
She has now flown further north into the Whitsundays with 130 cast and crew to shoot new scenes for the film, “The Courier Mail”.
Ange has been back in the directing chair to create the World War II biopic but has been taking time off to see the sights Down Under too.
After wrapping up in the Gold Coast, she and Brad went north to the Whitsunday Region of Queensland, where they had dinner on Tuesday night.
Brad has been jetting between the US and Australia while his fiance has been hard at work filming his latest movie. – Daily Mail.
