Head on: The two vehicles crashed into each other, killing 15 people on the spot By Thupeyo Muleya
Fifteen people died on the spot when a UD truck collided head on with a Mercedes Benz sprinter at the 83km peg along the Beitbridge-Masvingo highway at around 3 am today. Initial police reports indicate that the UD truck encroached into the right lane resulting in a collision.
- The UD truck driver is reported to have died on his way to Beitbridge District hospital. The number of the injured victims is yet to be ascertained, some have been sent to Neshuro Hospital in Masvingo province while others have been taken to Beitbridge District hospital.
