Breaking: Region 5 netball: Zimbabwe win gold

ZIMBABWE ended its AUSC Region 5 Under-20 Youth Games netball Gold drought today in emphatic fashion when they beat South Africa 45-37 in the final at White City Stadium.

South Africa had to settle for Silver.

Team Zimbabwe coach Simba  said he is excited with the achievement.

South African Netball coach, Jenny Van Dyk said it was a tough match but congratulated Zimbabwe.

Botswana won Bronze after beating Namibia 48-28.
