BREAKING: Sikhala  and his  uncle granted bail over explosives possession in South Africa

Troubled former lawmaker and opposition figure Job Sikhala (53) and his uncle Alexander Thema (78) who were last week arrested for illegal possession of explosives in South Africa have been granted  R10, 000  bail each  pending trial e

at the Pretoria Magistrate Court.

The two were granted bail on Thursday.

The two men who were arrested between Pretoria and Johannebsurg on Friday last week while travelling in a Ford Fiesta.

They have been formally charged for possession of explosives and are expected back in court on 3 February 2026.
