BROKE prophet versus teacher!
A city prophet has become homeless as his live-in girlfriend of eight years kicked him out of her house after he became jobless and broke.
It would seem the seer did not see it coming!
Tapfuma Masakara (50) has learnt it the hard way that in future he should learn to invest the right way as Lillian Silempa has forgotten that the man used all his money to extend her house.
It was love at first sight for the two as they met in a train in 2010.
Masakara reportedly moved to stay with Silempa who is a teacher by profession at her two-roomed house and decided to show his commitment by extending the woman’s house.
As fate would have it, 2018 turned to be a dry year for Masakara as he lost his job and Silempa’s love for him died instantly.
She then chased him out of the house, but Masakara realising that he had been used, started demanding all his money back which he spent extending the house.
“Masakara found me with my two-roomed house which I was in the process of extending. He helped me to buy cement, roof trusses, pit sand, river sand and paid the builder. Now he is coming to my house throwing stones on top of the roof saying he wants his money that he used to finish off the house.
“I did not ask him to help me. I now live in fear because he is threatening to bring a team of gold panners to kill me at my house,” she said.
She also claimed that Masakara was in the habit of coming to her house armed with a hoe and comes to her workplace to insult her.
In response, the man revealed that he still loved the woman, but she chased him away because he was no longer employed.
“I am surprised because I still love her. Our problems were caused by her youngest son who does not like me and told her to get rid of me. When I became broke, she chased me out of her house. I had no money and therefore moved to stay with my nephew,” said Masakara.
Tancy Dube granted an interim order.
