Mbulelo Mpofu, Chronicle Reporter
DEEP in the heart of New York City in America lies the famous county of Brooklyn which has produced quite a number of artists who have dominated the entertainment industry.

At home, in the City of Kings and Queens, Bulawayo, a certain ‘Brooklyn’ lurks and musicians cannot help, but seek the services of this company.

Tinashe “Zinjaro” Gijima is the Director of Brooklyn Films International, a company that takes pride in shooting visual gold for artistes and everyone who values opulence.

The 30-year-old Bulawayo resident has had huge success in the music industry, shooting and directing videos forpopular Zimdancehall artiste Hwindi President, Dr MTK and Msiz’kay.

“In terms of quality, we don’t compromise. We do justice to any project. Working with Hwindi President was quite an experience that I enjoyed as he is a professional artiste,” is how Tinashe would describe his work ethic in the entertainment circles.

Last year, Zimbabwe lost one of its iconic rappers in Calvin “Dat Luveve Boy” Nhliziyo and guess who shot the funeral tribute convoy!

Yes, you are right, Brooklyn Films International covered that one and slowly, but surely, the company is carving a niche.

With a portfolio that covers photography, videography and everything in between, Tinashe has a vision of, “making lasting memories” for his clientele. — @eMKlass_49
