Bryan Habana scores hat-trick

South Africa on Wednesday qualified for the quarter-finals with a thumping victory over the United States.

The Boks scored 10 tries and Bryan Habana a hat-trick to equal New Zealand’s legendary Jonah Lomu Rugby World Cup record.

South Africa is now the only African team left in the tournament. The two-time RWC winning champions are among the favourites tipped to reach the finals along with Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and France.

The hosts, England bowed out of the tournament after two consecutive loses to Wales and Australia respectively. — Telegraph.
