“The competition was tough but we started well picking up an away point against Eiffel Flats. Northern Region teams have improved and all the games were difficult but my toughest game was at
Trojan when we lost 1-0 to Mwana Africa despite having really played well and the gap then increased to seven points. We never scaled to the top spot or second place until we won against Highfield United and we shot to the top of the log and went on to win away in Kariba against ZPC and against Eiffel Flats to win the league.
“My lowest point was when we were held to a goalless draw by Cossy Rules, it was their first point of the season and they got it against us. I give glory to God,” said Mawiwi.
