The win also came as a great relief for Buffaloes coach Saul Chaminuka who was last week given a three game ultimatum to prove his mettle following 1-0 back-to-back defeats by Hardbody and FC Platinum.
Chaminuka, however, remained calm and has vowed to collect maximum points to save his job at the Mutare-based side.
“I am not reading much into that ultimatum and I am only concentrating on getting results just like what we have been doing since the beginning of the season,” said Chaminuka.
“It’s not something new to me and I am ready for the challenge. In football it’s normal and you can’t expect to win all your matches throughout the season.
“The boys are playing well but we are having problems in our finishing and it’s something that we really need to work on if we are to score goals.
“We had never scored more than two goals in all our games this season and we are trying to build confidence in the players.
“It was the same situation today and we could have scored more than six goals but our strikers failed to utilise chances that came our way,” said Chaminuka.
Buffaloes are now on 31 points from 18 matches and they will travel to struggling Quelaton in their next match.
