Building tools thief jailed

He was jailed for 10 months with four months of his sentence suspended on condition that he shall not commit a similar offence in the next five years. Prosecutor Mr Edmond Ndambakuwa proved that on February 19 this year, Kachetu went to complainant Mr Tandadzai Nyangani’s place in Mainway Meadows, Waterfalls. On arrival, he broke in and stole gumboots, building square among other tools.

Nyangani intercepted one Casper Mabika in possession of his spirit level and asked him where he had got it from. He revealed to have bought it from Kachet.
Nyangani went to report the matter to the police leading to his arrest.
