SIMBA Bhora president, Simba ‘Buju’ Ndoro, celebrates his 47th birthday today.
His club have turned themselves into one of the favourites for the league championship.
“I want to thank God for this healthy life and it has been His will for me to be in a position to create opportunities for people around me,” said Ndoro.
“Simba Bhora gives me joy and their position on the league table gives me goosebumps and they have made me feel like I am the latest version of Prophet Walter Magaya with the impact which this club has made.
“PHD Minitries was the talk of Africa when it was formed and I think we have matched that level of being topical and it is now up to the boys to win the league so that we can be able to expand our horizons internationally.”
Ndoro is a close ally of Magaya and their clubs clash in a league match in Shamva on Saturday.
He thanked his wife, Tonderai, who is also the team’s vice-president, for being behind his success.
“I want to thank God for giving me a powerful wife who knows how to motivate me whenever I feel like giving up.
“I can’t thank her enough and she is also doing a great job in ensuring stability at Simba Bhora.
“I want to thank Prophet Magaya for being my advisor and he has been fully involved behind the scenes with ideas to make Simba Bhora a decent team in the PSL.
“He has also helped me a lot spiritually and I always joke around my family and friends that I’m the Magaya of football.”
