SIMBA Bhora president Simba ‘Buju’ Ndoro has promised to reward the club’s vice-captain Webster Tafa who played his 100th game in a row with a life changing gift.

Tafa became the first player in the Castle Lager Premiership to play 100 successive games when they hosted Highlanders on Saturday.

Bosso salvaged a 1-1 draw.

The central defender has never missed fixture since the introduction of the Shamva side into the topflight league.

He was honoured with a framed jersey signed by Ndoro which was presented to him before the match.

Ndoro told H-Metro how he is planning to reward Tafa’s dedication by helping him build own his house.

“Tafa has been very consistent, and this milestone shows that he is someone who is down to earth. As a club we have to reward hard work so that his colleagues will be inspired.

“As the club, we are going to help him build his own house. We are going to try our best to assist him until the completion of the construction of his house is over.

“He has earned such a reward, and our fans will be disappointed if we don’t do something special for someone who has been one of our outstanding players in the last three seasons,” said Ndoro.

Ndoro also promised unspecified gifts for the Bindura born central defender.

Tafa is one of the Simba Bhora players who are likely going to make the 2025 iconic calendar.

Simba Bhora goalkeeper, William Thole is in pole position to become the first foreign player to win the Golden Glove race thanks to Tafa, Isheanesu Mauchi, Ishmeal Nyanhi and Blessing Moyo who have helping his cause.
