SEBASTIAN “Bash Vision” Jameson, who rose to prominence as Nadia Nakai’s manager, has been recognised for his influence in shaping African urban music after he was appointed as the label manager for Sony Music Africa.
Bash, who traces his roots back to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, has become one of the most respected music executives in Mzansi, getting credited for not only managing Nakai but turning media personality Boity Thulo into a bona fide music star.

Announcing his appointment, Sony Africa credited Bash for his intense passion for artist development.
“A seasoned label and artist manager with extensive experience in artist development, creative direction, and project execution across the South African music industry, Sebastian brings a deep passion for nurturing talent and a proven track record for driving impactful releases. Welcome on board, Bash. We’re thrilled to have you with us,” the label said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Bash also expressed his joy at joining the Sony Music Africa team.
“I’m thrilled to be welcomed to the Sony Music family. My passion for African music and sharp industry insight align with our vision to nurture and propel African talent to the world stage.”
