CASTLE LAGER Premier League returnees Bulawayo Chiefs have continued to bolster their squad ahead of the 2026 season after securing the services of Highlanders FC midfielder Melikhaya Ncube.
Ncube becomes the latest addition to the Amakhosi Amahle camp as the Bulawayo outfit intensifies preparations for their return to top-flight football.
The industrious midfielder joins a growing list of new signings that includes teenager Dwayne Musona (14), former Scottland FC defender Elvis Moyo and Chicken Inn’ striker Brian Muza, as Chiefs look to assemble a competitive squad capable of holding its own in the elite league.
Bulawayo Chiefs, who secured promotion back to the Castle Lager Premier League at the end of last season, have been active in the transfer market as they seek to avoid a quick return to the lower divisions.
The acquisition of Ncube, who arrives from local giants Highlanders FC, is expected to add depth and stability to the Chiefs midfield department, bringing top-flight experience to the squad.
Club officials said the team remains focused on building a balanced side ahead of the demanding 2026 campaign.
