Bulawayo City Council Seeks Vehicles for National Polio Vaccination Campaign

ON Sunday morning, numerous motorists gathered at the Bulawayo City Council’s Khami Road stores facility to hire out their vehicles for the upcoming National Polio Vaccination Campaign (Round 3).

The campaign is scheduled to commence on Tuesday.

The council is seeking 178 vehicles; however, over 200 vehicles were observed along Khami Road.

In a statement, the council said “The City of Bulawayo is inviting individuals with Double Cabs or SUV Motor vehicles 178 for the National Polio Vaccination Campaign (Round 3) commencing on Tuesday 26 November 2024 to 29 November 2024 for 4 days at a fixed rate per vehicle per day inclusive of fuel.

“Registration will be done on Sunday 24 November 2024 at the City Bulawayo Khami Road Stores from 8:00am. Inspection of registered vehicles will be done on the same day at the City of Bulawayo Cleansing Section (Behind Khami Café).

“Registration will be done on a STRICTLY FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS for the limited number of vehicles required.”
