A COP was gunned down in a shocking execution while responding to a crime scene—in a brazen attack that has left the city reeling!
The slain officer has been identified as Sergeant Abel Masava, a dedicated policeman cut down in his prime.
Sources reveal that Sgt Masava was at a crime scene with a fellow officer and two complainants when they had an altercation with five armed thugs.
Witnesses say the cop confronted the gang— BAM! One of the suspects pulled out a gun and shot him point-blank in the head!
Despite being rushed to hospital, the heroic sergeant succumbed to his injuries, leaving the police force and community in mourning.
Police are yet to issue a statement on the issue.
