Bulawayo man nabbed for selling over one tonne of fertiliser

A 36 year old Bulawayo man has been arrested for selling over one tonne of fertiliser reportedly diverted from the Presidential Command Agricultural Inputs Programme.

The man Khulumani Sibanda was nabbed selling at Tandabantu Green Vegetable Market according to a post on X by the police.

“Police in Bulawayo acted on received information and arrested Khulumani Sibanda (36) for unlawful sale of agricultural inputs at Tandabantu Green Vegetable Market.

“The arrest of the suspect led to the recovery of 27 X 50 kg bags of Urea fertiliser which is suspected to have been diverted from the Presidential Command Agricultural Inputs’ Programme.”
