Parliament spokesperson Retired Major Edward Mbewe confirmed the meeting yesterday.

“Parliament will hold the ease of doing business workshop for two days in Bulawayo starting at 8AM tomorrow (today) where the Speaker will deliver the keynote address. This will be followed by presentations from different participants,” he said.

Zimbabwe is working on improving its investment image as part of measures to facilitate medium to long term investment promotion.

The process involves reviewing laws and policies that govern operations of businesses mainly the time it takes to set up a business in the country.

Given the competition for investment across the region, enhancing the ease of doing business is critical in positioning the country as a favourable investment destination.
