Bulawayo travel agency scores a double

The awards were presented to Mr Peter Chuma, the managing director of the Galaxy Travel Agency, at a colourful ceremony in Harare.

The winner of the travel agency award was Travish Travel Agency of Harare.

In an interview yesterday, Mr Chuma said Galaxy was the First Runner Up in providing excellent service for the whole of last year.

“The first award for the best consultancy was based on statistical achievements,” said Mr Chuma.

He said the second award was presented to him after being chosen from 10 nominated travel consultants.

“I am humbled by this award because it is an honour being recognised for the multi-services we offer as travel agencies.

“We offer international services like flight bookings, hotel bookings and bus bookings world wide,” said Mr Chuma.

He said Galaxy Travel Agency was established in 2007 and had won a number of awards, including the best selling agents, which were awarded to the travel agency last year by the Ethiopian and South African Airways.

Mr Chuma urged other consultants to strive to provide good services to their customers so as to keep up their good name and maintain standards.
