The Picnic and Chill event is back with its December edition, promising an unforgettable day of fun and relaxation.

Scheduled for tomorrow, the event will once again be held at the scenic Southern Cross Estate in Matsheumhlophe, Bulawayo.

Organised by Wood Affair Events and coordinated by Mthulisi Moyo and Christine, the event is set to kick off at 11am ending at 10pm. It will feature an impressive lineup of activities and live performances by various artistes.

Describing the event, coordinator, Moyo highlighted its family-friendly focus.
“The picnic is a family-oriented event designed for friends and families to bond, unwind, reflect, and enjoy life. Come and experience the finer side of picnic culture with delicious options like charcuterie, cheese, snack boards, and finger foods.
“We’ll also have a wide range of beverages, including cocktails and wine, available from various beverage enthusiast stalls.”

The event also provides a platform for stallholders and organizsers to earn a livelihood, Moyo said.

The day promises entertainment for all ages, with jumping castles, trampolines, and slides for kids and adults alike. Adding to the festive vibe will be some of Bulawayo’s finest DJs, including DJ Frosty, DJ Zulu, DJ Snow, and Mdast Khalfala, spinning crowd favourites throughout the day.
