Bulldozer stolen in Caledonia

A Harare man has gone into hiding after he allegedly stole a bulldozer worth $15 000 at Caledonia Farm in Mabvuku, Harare. The bulldozer has not been recovered and investigations are in progress. Criminal Investigations Department (CID) acting spokesperson Detective Assistant Inspector Portia Chinho said police had launched a manhunt for Paul Samusonza of Glen Lorne, whose whereabouts are still not known.

Samusonza’s last known address was 2143 Highgate Close, Glen Lorne, Ha- rare.

“He is wanted in connection with a theft of a bulldozer. The suspect went to the farm and misrepresented to the caretaker that he had bought the bulldozer from the complainant and wanted to collect it.

She said anyone with information leading to the arrest of the suspect should contact CID VTS Harare on (04) 665524, Detective Asst Insp Mhondiwa on 0772 886 289, national complaints desk on (04) 703631 or any police station.
