Bullish Mambas fire warning shots

Had the police side scored a goal less, they would have been relegated.
This season Mambas are bullish they will do very well.

“We are not going to be the whipping boys anymore but we are going to challenge for whatever will be at stake in the league,” said Tanyanyiwa.
“We have been quiet in the pre-season but we are going to come out very strong.

“We have made a few additions to the team, as we gear up for the season, and acquired goalkeeper Ronald (Mudimu) from Motor Action and few other faces.” They have also snapped up Nhlanhla Ncube from relegated Hardbody and Paul Marizani from Blue Rangers.

“All the years we faced relegation, it was because we have been making mistakes changing our technical team.

“We once engaged Madinda (Ndlovu) and we faced relegation,” said Tanyanyiwa.
“Last season we again engaged the services of Moses (Chunga) and again we lost matches but it was (John) Ncube who  has been coming to our rescue all these years after the high-profile coaches had failed to bring the desired results.

“I feel it’s high time we support Ncube and give him the faith and all the maximum support to steer the ship. If we are ever going to sink we are going to sink with Ncube.”
He also took time to thank BancABC for their support as the bank takes care of their players and coaches’ salaries and signing-on fees.

Mambas will wind up their preparations for this coming season with a friendly in Mutare tomorrow against Buffaloes at Sakubva. Their first league match is against champions Dynamos.
