Bulls take aim at DeMbare

The following day, Dynamos were surprisingly stretched to a 1-1 draw by relegation-haunted Quelaton before winning 4-2 on penalties last weekend.

The difference between DeMbare and the Mighty Bulls, in the championship race, is a massive 20 points but, as Quelaton showed on Sunday, it’s easy to make life difficult for the Glamour Boys.
Motor Action defender Morris Kadzola believes they will put a glitter to their rather indifferent season if they manage to get a positive result against the league champions at Rufaro on Sunday.

During their meeting in the reverse fixture, the two teams shared the spoils.
With four goals to his name this season, Kadzola is the joint leading goalscorer at the club, with former Dynamos forward Norman Maroto, and that in itself tells a story.
Maroto made his name at Dynamos as a Churchill schoolboy and could have rejoined the team before the start of the season but on Sunday he will be on a mission

against them.
“We drew with Dynamos in the first round but this time I think we should be getting the three points,” said Kadzola.
“It has been some time since we last won a league match and I believe the guys are eager for a win.”

In their last league match, Motor Action were held to a 2-2 draw by Black Mambas after having lost 2-1 to title aspirants Highlanders at Barbourfields.
“Everyone is raring to play against Dynamos,” said Kadzola. “I am sure we are all fit except (Marlon) Jani.”
Jani has not been playing for some time after falling ill and Ronald Mudimu has been keeping goals for the Mighty Bulls.

Kadzola hopes his teammates will play with the same spirit they showed, in a losing cause, at Trojan.
“Generally we thought we played well against CAPS United and we created chances,” said Kadzola.
“We did everything to get into their box but luck was not on our side.

“It was just not our day but I am sure we can get something against Dynamos.”
While Motor Action will playing at Rufaro, across town Blue Rangers will engage Quelaton at Gwanzura in a fight against relegation.
Rangers coach, Patson Ndabambi, said he is taking a very cautious approach after his opponents came close to upsetting Dynamos in the Mbada Diamonds Cup.

“In 90 minutes of football, Quelaton managed to hold Dynamos who are the Zimbabwean champions.
“So that means they are a good side,” said Ndabambi.
“We also held Dynamos and that could put us at par with Quelaton in some way.

“It’s going to be a very difficult game for us. In one day, Quelaton play well, and in the next they could lose.
“So they are difficult to predict.”
