ZIMBABWE international cricketers, Ryan Burl and Richard Ngarava are set to take part in the 2024 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) after they were signed by Sylhet Strikers during the player draft.

The two Chevrons stars are no strangers to international franchise cricket having taken part in some of the best leagues in the world. They are the only Zimbabweans picked to take part in Bangladesh’s premier franchise cricket competition.

This will be Ngarava, a left arm fast bowler’s, maiden appearance at the BPL while Burl, a hard hitting all-rounder, will be returning to Sylhet Strikers after impressing them in this year’s edition. Burl has also previously played for Chattogram Challengers.

The two stars are some of the shining talents in the present Zimbabwe national team and will be playing alongside the likes of Harry Tector, Ben Cutting, Shafiqul Islam and Mashrafe Mortaza.  Taking part in next year’s BPL will be key for the two Chevrons talents as it will provide them yet another platform to showcase their skill and add on to their exposure which will come in handy in helping the national team.  The duo has been enjoying a good run in international cricket.
