Burombo Flats murder accused taken for police indications

Murder accused Meluleki Ndlovu of Burombo Flats in Bulawayo, who allegedly assaulted his wife before she jumped from their third-floor apartment window, was taken for police indications on Monday afternoon.

Ndlovu, under police guard, arrived at the scene where his wife, Siphiwe Ndlovu, fell before being rushed to the hospital. A coffin containing the body of the late Siphiwe, a mother of one, was also transported in the police van used to bring Ndlovu for the indications.

Police indications involve taking an accused person back to the crime scene as detectives reconstruct the events leading to the crime.

Meluleki is expected to appear in court on Tuesday. Meanwhile, mourners have gathered at number G159 in Mzilikazi suburb to pay their respects to Siphiwe’s family.
