Burundi youths shower President Mnangagwa with praises

President Mnangagwa’s leadership which has seen many youths getting appointed to influential positions received plaudits from Burundi youths last week.


Speaking during the Imbonerakure Day, also known as National Youth Conference in Bujumbura, Burundi, Zanu PF Mashonaland West provincial youth chairman, Cde Tapiwa Masenda said President Mnangagwa has made sure that youths are included in Zimbabwe’s political and development matrix.
“Our President, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa, has made sure that as the youths we are supported politically,” he said.
“We have a youth quota in parliament. Our youths are occupying ministerial positions while some parastatals and Government agencies are headed by youths,” he said to cheers from thousands of Burundi youths.
Harare provincial youth chairman, Cde Emmanuel Mahachi said the President has introduced several income generating projects to empower the youths.
The two provincial leaders and their counterparts from other countries’ political parties also met the President of Burundi, General Évariste Ndayishimiye at Burundi State House.
