Zanu PF spearheads women’s empowerment

ZANU PF’s Secretary for Women Affairs, Cde Mabel Chinomona handed over 5 000 chicks to women at a provincial party event in Chinhoyi today.

 


Cde Chinomona said the chicks are part of various projects being championed by President Mnangagwa’s administration at party and national levels to empower women.
“We want to thank President Mnangagwa for being a listening President,” she said.
“Whenever we go to him with our challenges as women, he listens and assists us. He gave us the chicks to support women financially,” she said.

She challenged women to make the programme a success.
Cde Chinomona is expected to also deliver another batch of 5 000 chicks to women in Masvingo.
In a speech read on her behalf by the Permanent Secretary in her office, Mr Josphat Jaji, Mashonaland West Provincial Affairs and Devolution Minister, Cde Marian Chombo said women’s empowerment is crucial.
