The five died on Wednesday last week when a Bell 430 helicopter crashed at Kudenga Farm in rural Marondera, about 70km east of Harare.
The aircraft was reportedly returning from Gandami in Chikomba, where Chivayo and his wife were constructing a rural home.
The other victims were Senelisiwe Magagula, Captain Kelvin T. Soda and Captain Courage Mutavirwa.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa described the tragedy as having left him “personally numbed”.
The transport sector’s condolences come as Zimbabwe continues to mourn the five victims, with their deaths drawing tributes from across the country.
The Chivayo and Muteke families have announced that the couple will be buried at Glen Forest Cemetery in Harare on Thursday, with members of the public expected to attend and pay their last respects.
Captains Kelvin Tafirei Soda and Courage Mutavirwa and Ms Magagula have since been buried.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
