ZIMBABWE all-rounder Sikandar Raza is in contention for a second ICC Men’s Player of the Month Award after being shortlisted alongside India stars Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma.

Raza, who has previously won the monthly award, earned his latest nomination after a strong run of form during Zimbabwe’s home limited-overs series against Australia.

The 40-year-old was Zimbabwe’s standout performer in the three-match ODI series, scoring 57, 45 and an unbeaten 81 to finish with 183 runs at a strike rate of 92.89.

He also made a significant contribution with the ball, taking three wickets while maintaining an economy rate of 5.46.

Raza’s all-round impact continued in the T20I series, where he scored 90 runs and claimed two wickets.

His consistency came during a difficult period for Zimbabwe, with the veteran all-rounder once again providing the experience and stability expected of him in the national team.

Raza faces strong competition from Gill, who is in contention for a fifth Player of the Month Award after a sensational ODI run that included a century and a record-breaking 223 against West Indies.

India opener Abhishek Sharma, the September 2025 winner, is the third nominee after smashing 108 off just 34 balls against Afghanistan, including the fastest T20I century by an India batter.
