Respected business, media and arts guru Dr Peter Gwaza of Kenako Media has highlighted the importance of creating viable business and arts hubs where local artists and business people can meet and have fun while sharing ideas on how to grow their interests.Speaking at event to mark the birthday of Zimbabwe Business and Arts Hub (Zibah) Chairperson Takemore Mazuruse, Dr Gwaza who is also the proprietor of Club Vicious located at Pahuku in Hillside, Harare revealed that he was availing his recently unveiled club for musical shows, brand activation as well as business and arts indabas for the benefit of locals.

“As we gather here to mark the birthday of a man whose passion is developing local small to medium enterprises and artists, it is my honour to reveal that Club Vicious will be an open to all business and arts networking hub for all progressive Zimbabweans.

“I am the Business Development director for Zibah and I believe and value the organisation’s vision towards promoting excellence and productivity in local business and arts,” Gwaza said to applause.

Club Vicious is an upmarket club, restaurant and bar with exquisite VIP sections with the executive business lounge nearing completion.

Speaking at the same occasion Mazuruse said he was happy to be celebrating life and called on fellow citizens to utilise available opportunities for personal and national growth.

“Zimbabwe is a land of opportunities, yes we have had our fair share challenges but I believe there is room for local artists and business players to create synergies for common good.

“As I celebrate my birthday, my message to all Zibah members here, family and friends and Zimbabweans at large is that we must seize opportunities as they arise.

“The local arts and business industry has vast potential and working together we can derive value from it. At Zibah we continue engaging government and we are happy with the results to date,” he said.

Zimbabwe Business and Arts Hub is an apolitical and highly progressive development player which brings together captains of industry, small to medium enterprises (SMEs), artists, media and various progressive citizens under the banner of nationhood.

The organisation was formed in 2016 and has championed a number of business and arts related programmes aimed at empowering citizens. Zibah was the first organisation to assist the late Cde Chinx when he was reported sick and recently gave forgotten sungura musician Paradzai Mesi a lifeline when his musical career had gone off the rails. They are currently finalising engagements with government ministries towards empowerment of artists and SMEs with funding.
