part of business community efforts revive Zimbabwe’s economy.
The event takes place at the Borrowdale Brooke Golf Club.
Networking is a new kind of business culture that is increasingly being used by business executives to brainstorm on economic issues, in an informal setting.
It is also used as information launch pad, where the business community can exchange information and ideas, on what is happening globally on the economic front.
The organiser of the function, Ms Debbie Peters, said that the networking event drawing high-profile business people would afford participants a chance to meet other business colleagues in a free environment.
“This is a chance for all business people to get to know each other, create new contacts and also socialise with fellow business people,” said Ms Peters.
The function is billed as an evening of power networking with executives from multinationals and business leaders discussing the economy and the latest investment trends.
The panel to this high-profile event will include the European Union Ambassador, Mr Aldo Dell’ Ariccia; the chief executive of the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange, Mr Emmanuel Munyukwi; and the co-chief executive officer of Renaissance Capital (the Russian private equity firm), Mr Terrence Mukupe.
The Commercial Counselor at the Chinese Embassy, Mr Han Bing; the CEO of African Financials, Mr Rob Stangroom’; will also be part of this event.
Participants would have an opportunity to get an insight into business opportunities and synergies that exist in Russia and China, which are among the emerging economies in the world.
“It will be an informal setting for executives, professionals and diplomats to find out what is happening on the Zimbabwe business scene, strike a deal and find opportunities for investment,” said Ms Peters.
She added that panellists would also discuss real and practical investments in Zimbabwe, followed by a question and answer plenary session.
Ms Peters urged all business-minded people to attend the networking event as part of their synergy formation to enhance their interaction and participation in the Zimbabwe’s economy.
“Networking events have become popular all over the world because it is an opportunity to mix business and pleasure. There is no better way to find contacts for future business.”
