IN February last year, a 45-year-old Indian businessman shot himself dead during a Facebook Live session after being harassed by money lenders.

In February 2022, Abu Mohsin Khan, the father-in-law of famous Bangladesh actor, Riaz Ahmed, shot himself dead during a Facebook Live session.

In September 2020, Iraq War veteran, Ronnie McNutt, 33, shot himself during a Facebook Live stream while his family and friends watched in horror.

Now, a Zimbabwean businessman, who was based in South Africa, joined this list on Sunday when he downed a drink, laced with poison, during a Facebook Live stream, as he commited suicide,

Sources said Kelvin Ngoshi had found out that his wife, identified as Kudzie, was having an illicit affair with one of his friends.

Sources said there was an altercation after Ngoshi confronted his wife with the allegations.

The case was reported to the police.

Ngoshi family spokesperson, Admit Ngoshi, told H-Metro that they are yet to get full information.

“Yes, my brother committed suicide,” said Admit.

“We are yet to get full information surrounding the suicide.

“Some of our team left the country to Johannesburg to find out the truth as well as collect the body.

“If everything goes according to plan, Kelvin’s body will be brought to Zimbabwe and be buried at Nyakudya Village, under chief Chinamhora, in Domboshava.”

Ngoshi had been running a transport business in South Africa.

He was based in Mpumalanga.

His friends watched helplessly as they saw Ngosi down the poison.
