TOP gospel musicians, Argatha Murudzwa and Mathias Mhere, are set to bless the Independence Music Fiesta at Murambinda Growth Point in Buhera on April 18.

The 44th Uhuru celebrations have been endorsed by many artists.

Murudzwa and Mhere are not strangers at national events.

“I enjoy performing at national events and I always perform to perfection,” said Murudzwa.

“It’s a good feeling to be included at national events where I can showcase my talent to the masses.

“It’s also good to note that gospel artists are also part of the proceedings.”

Similar sentiments were echoed by Mhere.

“It’s national duty for us and we are ready to serve our country,” said Mhere.

Fans will be treated to other genres like mbira, rhumba, Chimurenga and Zim dancehall at the Uhuru gala.

Suluman Chimbetu, DJ Fantan and Mark Ngwazi are part of the show.

And, so is Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria, Bio Mudimba of the Kujatajata fame, Sandra Ndebele, Last “Tambaoga” Chiangwa, Chief Hwenje, Shantel Sithole, Diana Samkange, Bigboy Motsi, Takura and Simon Mutambi.
