THE owner of Mutare fast food outlet – Burger Bar – who was in the habit of abusing and harassing her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend was recently ordered to stop the abuse by the courts.

Caroline Shenje, a ZETDC employee told the court that her husband’s girlfriend, Mercy Grace Westgate was in the habit of disturbing her peace wherever she meets her.

She described her as abusive and bully.

Shenje said: “This woman is a bully Your Worship. She is in love with my ex-husband. She always insults me saying I am a village girl. She even assaults me. She calls me all sorts of names and she stalks me. The last time she assaulted me I was pregnant and she stole my cellphone.

“She always harasses me to an extent that she comes to my work without my consent shouting on top of her voice calling, me a husband snatcher, yet she is the one who snatched my husband.

“She made me lose my job because she went to our ZETDC head office in Harare and tarnished my image, saying I had snatched her husband,” she said.

Mrs Chigodora granted the protection order saying Shenje was entitled to her peace.
