BUSINESSWOMAN Tanya Rushesha has been named on Fortune Africa Magazine’s prestigious Top 40 Under-40 Women’s List, joining an elite group of young female leaders redefining the continent’s future.
The annual list recognises rising stars across the continent in fields such as business, governance, philanthropy and innovation. Tanya, who is the daughter of Defence Minister Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, has been honoured for her remarkable leadership potential, discipline and growing influence.
Tanya has been named alongside powerful and influential leaders who include Uganda’s Minister of State for Minerals, Phiona Nyamutoro, and Princess Sakhizwe of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
Darlington Chiwara, chairman of the African Economic Empowerment Wealth Fund, described Tanya as “a hard worker who truly deserves this honour.”
Khumbu Malinga, General Manager of Apex Advisory Group, said Tanya’s success story resonates deeply with young African women.

The Fortune Africa 40 Under-40 Women list is fast becoming one of the continent’s most powerful platforms for showcasing the next wave of influential female leaders.
Tanya’s inclusion not only places Zimbabwe on the continental stage but also solidifies her status as one of Africa’s most promising young visionaries.
