Byo Chiefs storm into Machache Meats Cup final

HIGH-FLYING Bulawayo Chiefs stormed into the final of the Machache Meats Soccer Tournament when they dismissed Black Boots 1-0 on Saturday.
Bulawayo Chiefs will now meet Mpumalanga who beat Hwange Under-20 2-0 in the other semi-final match. Bulawayo Chiefs are aiming for a double as they are currently the log leaders and the Machache Cup is within their reach.

The ambitious and flamboyant side has been crushing the opposition with ruthless efficiency.

Meanwhile, Rufaro Rovers’ woes continued when they went down 0-2 to Ntabazinduna in a Zifa Southern Region Division League match over the weekend.

The Hwange based team anchors the log with 12 points from 16 games.

Zimbabwe Saints and Bantu Rovers played out a goalless draw in another match while Mkhosana beat Ajax Hotspurs 3-0.
