Premier Soccer League side Bulawayo City has shut out former Highlanders, FC Platinum and How Mine defender Brighton a?Zandlaa? Dube.

Last season Dube (32) was a regular feature for Bulawayo City either as a right back or central defender.

a?Our coaches recommend players that the executive should start doing negotiations with and Brighton Dubeas name was not forwarded to us. So we are not negotiating with him,a? said Bulawayo City acting chairman Zenzo Moyo.

The door was also shut on ex-Highlanders captain Felix Chindungwe who had previously shown interest in joining Amakhosi.

Asked if the club had signed the veteran duo of Zephaniah Ngodzo and Bhekimpilo a?Bhakhaa? Ncube, Moyo said their coaches were still assessing the pair.

a?The technical team is still assessing them. They have not given us the go-ahead to start negotiations,a? said the former Bosso fierce striker.

Thereas also a disciplinary issue at hand.

a?Welcome once skipped training. Itas a disciplinary case that the club is dealing with,a? said Moyo.
