NO EXCESS baggage in love!

A Bulawayo woman is caught in between choosing love or her seven children after her lover of six years made it clear that he could not continue supporting children from her previous marriage.

Both Emma Mlauzi and Maxwell Nyoni are in a dilemma after the former and her children were kicked out of the house by the latter who claimed he was no longer able to fend for the big family.

Not that Nyonias troubles were over, now he has got a challenge to reverse his choice of adopting Mlauzias last born child whom he registered under his name.

Both Mlauzi and Nyoni confirmed the reports.

a?Mlauzi has seven children and I had to part ways with her because I could not afford to support her seven children.

a?To make matters worse, at one moment I caught her having sex with another man after receiving a tip-off,a? said Nyoni.

After telling her to move out of his house with the children, she was angry and took all the property before breaking the door.

a?She moved to stay with the man she was cheating on me with and now the problem we have is that I registered her six-year-old child with my surname.

a?I fell in love with her when the child was still young and because of love we agreed that she registers me as the babyas father and the issue is now troubling me,a? he said.

The woman said she was proud that she chose her children over a man as she could not kill them just to please him.

a?He just told me that he could not support my children and he no longer wanted them at his house.

a?I could not kill them so I moved out. And because he always followed me I decided to stay with this new boyfriend so he could defend me.

a?The problem we have now is that he has to write an affidavit so that I get my child another birth certificate because he is not his real father,a? said Mlauzi.

The two are yet to meet and discuss the way forward concerning changing the childas surname.
