HARARE-based comedians, Carl Joshua Ncube and Q The Boss, will be in Bulawayo tomorrow for a performance at the Horizon Pub and Grill.
Their act in the city will be part of the Feel Good Zimbabwe stand-up comedy tour which has seen the country’s leading comedians entertaining comedy lovers in Mutare, Harare and Kariba – often leaving them in stitches.
Their performance in the city comes at a time when local comedians have been hailing the Bulawayo populace for supporting their unique talent.

Popular comedian Long John said local audiences had grown remarkably as there has been a notable increase in attendance at their shows such as the Umahlekisa Comedy Nights.

The comedy nights, held at the end of each month, have grown tremendously, attracting people from all walks of life.
“The rate at which the audience in Bulawayo is responding to comedy in the city is amazing. Our audience is becoming better by the day.

“We started our Comedy Nights at Jimmy’s Restaurant – a small venue with a small audience. But with time, we had to move from that venue as it was getting smaller,” he said.

The comedian pleaded with the corporate world to bankroll their venture.
