Byo KFC opens 24 hours weekends

INTERNATIONAL fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) which opened doors in Bulawayo two months ago, has since gone 24-hour through its Drive-Thru point.

The Drive Thru restaurant located at the Bradfield Shopping Centre, opened nine weeks ago in the city of Bulawayo and has been highly embraced. This, according to management, has led them to quickly make the decision to open shop 24 hours on weekends when demand is very high.The restaurant used to close at 10PM.

A KFC Zimbabwe official said: “KFC is well known for its Drive-Thru experience, something we’ve introduced to our customers in Zimbabwe.

“We know that our customers enjoy the convenience of extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays and we’re happy to be able to offer a 24-hour service to the Bulawayo community.”

The spokesperson thanked the Bulawayo community for embracing the fast food outlet.

“We’re so excited about how well the restaurant has been received. We’ve been really busy and our sales have been outstandingly great and continue to increase since we opened the restaurant.”

Streetwise 2 has been the most popular meal with the Krushers also gaining popularity.

“We’ve been operating at Bradfield, Bulawayo for just over nine weeks and we’ll continue to introduce new concepts as we progress,” she said.

KFC Bulawayo is the fifth branch of the American brand which is being franchised in Zimbabwe by Crispy Chicken Restaurants (Pvt) Limited. — @winnie_masara
