Byo man killed in hit and run accident

A Bulawayo man died in a hit and run traffic accident on Thursday along Robert Mugabe Way in the central business district. An unknown motorist knocked down Bernard Madzana, 42, of 310 in Makokoba suburb at around 6.30PM. Bulawayo Provincial spokesperson Inspector Precious Simango confirmed the accident and appealed to members of the public who might have information that can lead to the suspect’s arrest to contact the police.

“We received a report of a hit and run that occurred along Robert Mugabe Way where a male adult aged 42 was knocked down by a motorist who didn’t stop,” said Insp Simango.
