Mine Entra is a specialised exhibition for players in mining, engineering and transport sectors.
The BMA was launched early this year and its participation as Mine Entra is set to link members to potential investors and business associates.
BMA is an affiliate of the Zimbabwe Miners’ Federation, the mother body of small-scale miners in the country.
In an interview yesterday, BMA advisor Mr Ishmael Kaguru said his organisation has secured an exhibition stand at Mine Entra which will be from 25 to 27 July.
“We have actually secured a stand at this year’s Mine Entra. The whole idea is to allow our members to get an opportunity to be linked with potential investors or different suppliers of mining equipment and services,” he said.
“At the stand we will also run an information desk to market BMA and its membership as well as advising the exhibitors on possible business linkages with our members.”
BMA has members in areas around Bulawayo that include Umguza, Siphezini and Hope Fountain.
Mine Entra is organised by the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Company.
Briefing journalists recently, ZITF Company chairman Mr Bekithemba Nkomo said the organisation of Mine Entra included stakeholders such as the Chamber of Mines.
He said although ZMF had never been involved in the organisation of Mine Entra, small-scale miners were given a platform to participate at the exhibition considering their critical role in economic development.
