Bulawayo vendors fight over use of mubobobo

MUBOBOBO, a term typically associated with men seeking “remote supernatural” sex with women, was at the centre of a peculiar case in Bulawayo when a male vendor operating at the Renkini long-distance bus terminus sensationally accused a female colleague of possessing the abhorrent powers.

He suspected she was using them to remotely be intimate with him.

Yes, you read that right, Lindelani Mathema (31) from Mzilikazi suburb alleged that Qaphelani Ncube (46) from Emakhandeni used mubobobo on him.

Mathema reportedly claimed whenever he was near Ncube, he would experience “involuntary arousal and ejaculation”.

Mubobobo is an act of mysteriously engaging in sexual intercourse without having physical contact with another person through supernatural means.

It is metaphorically referred to as “bluetooth sex” due to the fact that the victim and the perpetrator do not have to be in physical contact.

Both Mathema and Ncube are self-employed vendors at the terminus.

After being accused of using “bluetooth sex” on Mathema, Ncube flew into a rage and assaulted the former with an empty crate on the face. It is believed on April 22, around 7am, at the Renkini terminus, Mathema accused Ncube of using mubobobo on him. The accusation caused an altercation between the two.

An enraged Ncube reportedly grabbed an empty crate and struck Mathema on the left cheek. Ncube went on to slap Mathema, before she punched him in the face.

Mathema, whose face was swollen from the attack, reported the matter to the police, leading to Ncube’s arrest.

Ncube was hauled before a Bulawayo magistrate, charged with assault.

She was convicted on her own plea of guilty and ordered to pay a US$100 fine or the equivalent in the local currency.

Wife chops off hubby’s privates over cheating

A jealous woman reportedly chopped off her husband’s private parts with a knife after he admitted to cheating.

Horrifying images show the naked man lying on the floor of their flat in Mendeleyevsk, Russia, covered in blood.

Emergency service providers found him there in a state of “shock and pain”.

He was quickly taken to hospital due to severe blood loss, but, sadly, doctors were unable to save his manhood.

The woman, named Tatyana Rykova (34), was also in a state of “shock” and covered in blood.

According to news reports, she was speaking incoherently and seemed confused about what had happened when the police arrived.  She reportedly confessed she was the one who had used the knife.

Concerned neighbours filmed the immediate aftermath of the incident. Footage shows the man being carried away naked on a stretcher after his genitals were severed. Neighbours initially thought he was dead, but paramedics reassured them by saying: “He is alive . . . he is alive.”

The man was then taken to an intensive care unit. A woman cut off her lover’s genitals out of jealousy.

“The man was taken to intensive care, but the organ could not be saved,” reported the media.

Another media source added:

“It is known that during an alcohol session, the man admitted to his wife that he had cheated on her.

“This news infuriated the wife, so she took a knife and took revenge on her husband. When the ambulance crew arrived, the man was already unconscious from shock and pain. He was taken for intensive care, but the genital could not be saved.”

Police have interrogated the woman. The man’s name was withheld. — Wires

Man commits suicide following partner’s death

A man who could not bear “too many challenges” after the death of his wife decided to end his life by hanging himself from the roof trusses of his bedroom.

Tanetseka Tsiga (44) from Nkulumane suburb in Bulawayo decided to hang himself and left three suicide notes detailing the reasons he took his life.

One of the suicide notes that this reporter gleaned read in part:

“After the death of my wife, who died a couple of years back, my life turned upside down and I have been facing challenges. Things got difficult for me and my children.”

Tsiga stayed with his two children aged 13 and 15.  A family member, who spoke to us on condition of anonymity, said:

“My uncle stayed at the house with his two children.

“He used to tell us that since the passing on of his wife, a couple of years ago, his life has been very difficult, and he could not bear the pressure of raising the children alone. He told us that the death of his wife left a huge void in his heart that could not heal, and it affected him.”

His lifeless body was discovered by his children when they arrived home in the evening from the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair. When they returned in the evening, they were shocked to find their father not in his usual place — sitting room.

“The eldest child dashed to check on him in his bedroom and she was greeted with a scary sight — his lifeless body hanging from the roof trusses.

“She retreated and started screaming. A neighbour rushed to Tsiga’s home and after that, the incident was reported to the police,” said a family member.

Bulawayo police spokesperson Inspector Abednico Ncube confirmed the incident.

“We would like to urge members of the public to seek counselling whenever they are faced with challenges, rather than resorting to taking their own lives,” he said. — B-Metro

Toddler hit with shovel on the head by stepfather

A 37-year-old man from Siyephi village, Chief Kandana area in Plumtree, Matabeleland South province, was arrested for allegedly striking his two-year-old stepdaughter with a shovel after a domestic dispute with her mother.

This was after the mother told him that she was no longer interested in him. The details were heard when Abedinico Moyo appeared before a Plumtree magistrate, charged with physical abuse. He was not asked to plead and was remanded in custody. The court heard that on April 14, around 4pm, the victim’s mother, Patience, was with the accused when she told him that she no longer loved him since their relationship was not working out. Moyo, the court heard, then became angry and demanded that Patience pay back all the money he had given her during the period they were in love. In a fit of rage, Moyo grabbed a shovel intending to strike Patience, who was holding the victim in her arms. He missed her, but the shovel struck the child once on the head.
