Congratulations continue to pour in for Cabinet Ministers who were appointed by President Mugabe on Tuesday. President Mugabe appointed a 26-member Cabinet, down from the inclusive Government’s 33. In a statement, Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe Governor Dr Gideon Gono congratulated Senior Minister of State Simon Khaya Moyo and other Cabinet Ministers.
“I heartily congratulate you on your appointment as Senior Minister of State by His Excellency, President Robert Mugabe. As an institution and people who have worked together before, we are looking forward to contributing to the vision of your ministry in fulfilment of the people’s wishes and His Excellency, The President’s mandate,” read part of the statement.
State Procurement Board chairperson Mr Charles Kuwaza also congratulated Mr Khaya Moyo on his appointment.
“I wish to congratulate you on your appointment to this important post. It has been a long haul and I hope and trust that the good Lord will guide you in all your work,” read the statement.
The National Liberation Supporters Association president Mr Collins Chipare expressed satisfaction on President Mugabe’s choice of Cabinet ministers.
“We urge the old stalwarts in the Cabinet and the neophytes to put the people first and help in the execution and in fulfilment of the people’s manifesto,” he said.
