A similar event will also be taking place at NBSZ offices at United Bulawayo Hospitals.
In a statement, Friends of Freedom Moyo said the idea was precipitated by the fact that they had problems getting blood for Moyo.
“The initiative is intended to raise awareness particularly to the adult population where 80 percent of the blood is consumed,” read the statement.
The event has been jointly organised by NBSZ, Media Institute of Southern Africa, Zimbabwe Union of Journalists and Friends of Freedom Moyo.
