The recipients included elderly women aged more than 65 years and the underprivileged in Mabvuku.
“For people to be educated it is because of clear Zanu-PF policies on education. It is proper to move programmes that support the President since he is the one who elevated the country’s education system to the advantage of the majority,” Cde Masimirembwa said.
He said parents must be motivated and sacrifice resources to educate their children.
Cde Masimirembwa urged students who were enrolled under various scholarships from disadvantaged backgrounds through the Godwills Masimirembwa Foundation to excel in their studies at various institutions in Zimbabwe.
