The programme has been scheduled to run from Monday to Saturday from the organisation’s usual centres dotted around the country.
The aim is to have constant blood levels after boosting the quantities at all the centres.
NBSZ public affairs manager Ms Esther Masundah: “It is our desire to constantly have acceptable levels of blood in the blood bank at all times.
“As such, we are always looking at ways of encouraging the public to donate. While donating blood is everyone’s responsibility, we are this time around looking at growing our adult pool while calling on the couples to come together for this worthy cause.”
