Calum returns to action

CHICKEN Inn forward, Calum-English Brown, said he has fully recovered from an ankle injury which he sustained towards the start of the season.

The Gamecocks are visiting Triangle at Gibbo this Sunday.

Brown was signed during the window period and he was roped in as a direct replacement for Malvin Gaki who joined Ngezi Platinum Stars.

He has only played 10 minutes since his arrival from relegated Whawha.

The Gamecocks are finding themselves in an unfamiliar position as they sit third, with just a win, in six attempts.

Brown said he was hoping to stay injury-free for the remainder of the campaign.

“I’ve been out since the start of the season and this got worse when I tried to play against Simba Bhora.

“I have now fully recovered from the injury which I picked during pre-season.

“I’m now focusing on getting back into the team and try my best to help them as soon as possible because it hasn’t been a good start for us,” said Brown.

Despite their poor run, goalkeeper, Donovan Bernard, has kept five clean sheets.
